In space, no one can hear you scream. The same could be said for the region 365km off the coast of Cork where fragments of a rocket may have landed yesterday.
The French government warned the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport that segments of a space craft launched from French Guiana, on the northeast coast of South America, were predicted to fall into Irish waters. The rocket Soyuz VS12 took off on its seventh mission at 2am Irish time yesterday morning and was carrying two Galileo FOC-M3 satellites.
